Curator’s Note
Every piece in the Stranger Folkes Archive is chosen for a reason. Some are discovered unexpectedly, others carefully sought out, but each one earns its place by capturing a feeling worth preserving.
This is why Specimen No. A-0754 found its place within the Archive.
Emma discovered this one somewhere along the way, tucked amongst the things that seemed to have been forgotten.
She stopped when she saw the little figure behind the bar.
Who was he waiting for?
Perhaps he had been there all along, quietly keeping watch over the bottles and waiting for someone to come through the door.
Emma couldn't leave him behind.
So, like the other curious things she has encountered on her journey, he found his way into the Archive.
The Piece
A wonderfully atmospheric piece of wall art depicting a mysterious little ghost standing behind an old-fashioned bar, surrounded by bottles and softly glowing beneath a warm amber light.
The dark, moody setting gives it a wonderfully gothic, mysterious and slightly mischievous character, while the ornate gold-effect beaded frame adds an elegant old-world finish.
This is a one-off discovery, selected by Emma for the Stranger Folkes Archive. Once this piece finds its forever home, it will be gone from the Archive forever.
Perhaps it was waiting to be found. Now it is waiting to be found again.
