Ghosts in the Wildflower Field
Curator's Note
Every piece in the Stranger Folkes Archive is chosen for a reason. Some are discovered unexpectedly, others seem to have wandered in from somewhere between folklore and dreams.
This is why Specimen No. A-0761 found its place within the Archive.
Hidden among a field of wildflowers, two pale little figures drift quietly through the meadow. Ghostly, mysterious and strangely charming, they feel less like something frightening and more like spirits who have simply wandered back to a place they once knew.
Surrounded by delicate wildflowers and muted natural tones, the artwork has a wonderfully unusual quality — peaceful at first glance, but with just enough strangeness to make you look twice.
The ornate antique-style gold-effect frame adds another layer of character, giving this curious scene the feeling of an old illustration rescued from a forgotten collection.
A lovely statement piece for anyone drawn to ghost stories, folklore, strange little finds and the beautifully unusual.
