Curator's Note

Every now and then, Emma discovers something that looks as though it has wandered out of the woodland and found its way into the Archive.

Specimen No. A-0772 was one such find.

She first noticed the leaves.

Then the eyes.

Emma wasn't entirely sure whether it was a plant, a creature, or something caught somewhere between the two  but she decided it was far too curious to leave behind.

With its wide-eyed expression, sculptural leaves and wonderfully weathered finish, this whimsical piece has all the charm of something that might have been growing quietly at the edge of an enchanted garden.

The distressed detailing gives it a rustic, aged character, while the unusual design makes it a wonderfully eye-catching addition to a shelf, side table, bookcase or curiosity cabinet.

Perfect for folklore, gothic, woodland, Halloween or eclectic interiors, especially for anyone who likes their décor a little strange.
