Every piece in the Stranger Folkes Archive is chosen for a reason. Some are discovered unexpectedly, while others seem to arrive just when the seasons begin to change.

This is why Specimen No. A-0762 found its place within the Archive.

A curious meeting between two creatures of the night — a pale little ghost and a watchful black cat dressed in a witch's hat, standing quietly together among a wildflower meadow beneath a brooding autumn sky.

At their feet sits a tiny carved pumpkin, adding just the right hint of Halloween mischief to an otherwise atmospheric scene. There's something wonderfully storybook-like about the pair, as though they have paused in their wandering to share a secret only they understand.

The elegant black ornate frame gives the artwork an especially dramatic finish, making this a lovely piece for anyone who enjoys Halloween, folklore, witchy tales, black cats and the stranger side of nature.
