Haunted Manor Gothic Picture Frame
Curator's Note
Every piece in the Stranger Folkes Archive is chosen for a reason. Some are curious, some unsettling, and others simply seem to belong somewhere beyond the ordinary.
Specimen No. A-0767 was one Emma found difficult to leave behind.
She spotted it tucked away amongst the shadows, its elaborate frame catching what little light there was. Inside, a lonely manor stood beneath a pale moon, surrounded by dark clouds and circling bats.
Emma stood looking at it for quite some time.
She said the house looked as though it was waiting for someone.
Naturally, she brought it back.
With its ornate antique-style frame, gothic detailing and haunting moonlit scene, this unusual decorative piece has all the atmosphere of a forgotten picture discovered in an old house.
The intricate frame features scrolling details, tiny bat motifs and an aged, distressed finish, surrounding a dark and atmospheric haunted manor scene.
Perfect for adding a little mystery to a gothic bedroom, reading nook, hallway, study or Halloween display or simply for anyone who prefers their home décor with a story attached.
