Every piece in the Stranger Folkes Archive is chosen for a reason. Some are discovered unexpectedly, others carefully sought out, but each one earns its place by capturing a feeling worth preserving.

That is why Specimen No. A-0744 found its place within the Archive.

Description

Some discoveries don't announce themselves.

Tucked quietly amongst ordinary household objects sat a small hand bell, its wooden handle worn smooth by hands long forgotten. The brass had softened with time, its once-bright finish fading to a gentle mix of warm gold and silvered patina, each mark hinting at years of faithful use.

It was never the loudest object in the room, yet somehow it was the one that lingered in my thoughts.

Old folklore tells of bells being rung to welcome travellers home, call families together, or gently encourage wandering spirits to move on. Whether truth or tale, this little bell feels as though it has already lived many stories and is patiently waiting for another.

This is a pre-loved decorative vintage-style piece and shows signs of age, use and natural wear, all of which add to its individual character and charm. These are not flaws, but part of the history that makes each piece unique.
